Exit strategy?

Can anyone tell me how to un-subscribe from a group? I can't seem to see a 'Delete me as a Member" button.

Um, perhaps I should have replied before deleting myself as I don't know where my first reply to you has gone - but, at risk of repeating myself - thank you, dead easy, I dun it!

A pleasure to be of service. :)

Hi Ellie,

This is interesting - I've just done the same thing; my latest blog note gives reason as to why. Usk has given you the answer to the question.

Hi Menhir. Just looked at your post. The reason I deleted was that a couple of times, I found myself clicking by mistake on the group 'write' rather than 'my own' write (I'm easily confused!). The fear of inflicting my ramblings on group members here, plus the fact that I don't really know what to say in this group, made me decide to delete the link. But I know what you mean, I've sometimes read a friend's post and been confused when it takes me to a group. Not a real problem in the grand scheme of things, but as I am scared of clicking wrong buttons and deleting myself and everyone else, it's enough to put me off!

I found there was no way to avoid group write. I didn't click on group write. I clicked on my usual 'write' and it automatically placed me in the group post. I couldn't get out of it until I had written the darn thing when it let me in to C & P into my own site blog. Hence my query/request.

If you know how to circumnavigate the group blog write, please tell me. The group I joined - I wasn't going to join any - was at the request of a very old blog friend. I would not mind maintaining my links with with his group, but not if I can't place my individual blogs where I choose.

Click on any of the wee spanners on yer front page (where yer blogs and groups are listed - right hand side). Then click 'overview' ... there's a list of all your blogs and groups there.

Thanks Subs. I'd never been there! I so wish I had your techy knowledge.

I'm just nosy, so I click around to see where everything is :))

I am usually nosy - but when it comes to computers, I am chicken. I still don't know what half the tabs and buttons do, and I'm scared to find out in case they take me down a long, long road of blog debris and confusion!
