Any ideas out there?

Radio Berlin International

I set up my 'Radio Berlin International' blog to create a history of a radio station that went off air in October 1990 when the German Democratic Republic disappeared. I want to have input and reminiscences of staff and listeners about the station whilst there are still plenty of them around.

So far I have found quite a bit of info by trawling Google and Yahoo. A few people have found the blog and shared their memories. What do I do next to get the word out?

Facebook seems like a good way of reaching people.
Might be worth a try?

Have you thought or placing an advertisement in the communist newspaper the Morning Star? Probably most of the Brits, at least, who worked for RBI, were members of the CPGB and they might be readers of the above-mentioned paper. Or maybe you could put an advertisement in the old GDR party newspaper Neues Deutschland, if it's still going.

Another line of enquiry is to visit the website of the UK National Archives from time to time (www.nationalarchives.gov.uk). There is already one mention of John Peet and others may follow as more documents are released.

Hope the above ideas help.
